Luis Ángel del Valle, CEO and co-founder of SealPath, talks about the role that Artificial Intelligence will play in the prevention of cyber threats.
What do you think cybersecurity will look like in two decades, both in terms of protection and threats?
Over the past few decades, changes in the cybersecurity field have been so drastic that it is truly speculative to predict what will happen in the next two decades. However, given the acceleration of Artificial Intelligence technologies in recent years, it is reasonable to think that it will play a key role in both prevention and use by cybercriminals.
On the other hand, the growing geopolitical tension will force new technologies to be developed more quickly thanks to demand-driven and government agency support. Also in light of geopolitical changes, data regulations may become increasingly localized and more specific in terms of methods, rules and guidelines to be followed in order to maintain minimum security requirements to ensure the stability of organizations. Control over data will, of course, continue to be critical.

What value does your company bring to cybersecurity today and what role will it play in the future?
