MultiPoint Group, previously the exclusive distributor of SealPath in Israel, has now expanded the agreement to other countries where the VAD has presence such as Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
Madrid, January 26, 2021.- SealPath, a specialist manufacturer in corporate data protection, has expanded its distribution agreement with MultiPoint Group, an Israeli-origin Value-Added Distributor (VAD) expert in cybersecurity and IT solutions. The manufacturer, previously exclusively distributed in Israel through MultiPoint Group, has now extended the agreement to other countries where the VAD has a presence –Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
The signing occurred days after the news broke that Ingecom, a Value-Added Distributor specializing in cybersecurity and cyber intelligence solutions, was forming a strategic alliance with its Israeli counterpart, MultiPoint Group, aiming to broaden the market, reaching a total of nine countries, many of which are located in the Mediterranean area.
Ingecom is the reference VAD for SealPath, whose technology is exclusively distributed in countries where the Spanish wholesaler has a presence –Portugal, Spain, and Italy—. Following the agreement reached between MultiPoint Group and Ingecom, SealPath will benefit from the alliance formed by both VADs, allowing the manufacturer to develop a unified channel strategy through a single intermediary, in the various countries where both Ingecom and MultiPoint Group have a presence. This step taken by SealPath represents initial progress in the consolidation of the portfolio as a result of the strategic alliance of the VADs.
Luis Ángel del Valle, CEO of SealPath, states: “Thanks to the extension of this agreement, we are going to reinforce our expansion in the Mediterranean countries area, several of which we were already present in. The strategic alliance between Ingecom and MultiPoint Group, which will create commercial and technical synergies in nine countries, will allow us to increase the market reach of our data-centric security solutions and will facilitate the establishment of joint business development strategies in more territories”.
Ricardo Resnik, CEO of MultiPoint Group, affirms: “For us, SealPath is a reference in the world of IRM (Information Rights Management) and document encryption; in fact, we have been working with SealPath in Israel for several years due to its powerful technology and ease of use. Now, thanks to the strategic alliance reached with Ingecom, we are going to take a step further in our distribution agreement with SealPath, which will mean giving coverage to the manufacturer in the rest of the countries where we are present. This action is the first of many more we hope to undertake under the umbrella formed by the alliance between Ingecom and MultiPoint Group”.
Clients in more than twenty countries
This new agreement consolidates the international presence that SealPath already had, with its technology being present in more than twenty countries, in Europe, including Germany, Cyprus, Slovakia, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, and Romania; in Asia – the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Thailand–, in Latin America, where it does business in Ecuador, Mexico, and Panama, as well as in the United States and Canada.
With this alliance, SealPath seeks to become the reference IRM manufacturer for all corporations and organizations in the countries that join its distribution, just as it already is in other territories where it is present.
“The increase of remote work due to the global pandemic situation, the explosion of collaboration tools, and threats such as ransomware aimed at exfiltrating sensitive company data favor the increase in demand for data-centric security solutions to keep them protected and under control wherever they are. With the extension of this agreement, we will be able to meet the protection needs of many more customers in these territories”, concludes del Valle.
Let’s remember that SealPath offers protection and control of information that allows companies to keep their most sensitive data safe, not only within the company but also when they are sent to third parties. The manufacturer has more than 500 organizations as customers located in more than twenty countries in sectors such as banking, insurance, industry, pharmaceutical, retail, as well as public entities, and it also integrates with other security providers.
